Is it good to walk without shoes or slippers ?

We are living in a world where people consider wearing footwear as pride even during the time of in taking food. But in the olden days, even after the invention of the shoes and slippers some people did not wear slippers. Those people were honored for doing so. In today’s world a person’s status in society is known from the rate or quality of the footwear the person is wearing. Wearing shoes during walking practice became essential. The inferiority complex that what others feel about us is the main reason for that. But the recent report is telling that it is necessary for a person to walk with bare foots daily for a good health regulation. When we walk in a rugged path the lower part of our foot come to the direct contacts of the pressure. This enhances the human body’s stuff to work. Almost all the part of the lower part of the leg (from fingers to the hind leg) is directly connected to the heart, lungs, brain, and to all other important parts. So the pressure felt by the corresponding part will enhance the activity of those corresponding parts which is nothing but acupuncture. Acupuncture is one of the ancient Chinese way to treat human body. This is the reason why Hindu worshippers go to Sabarimalai without footwear. Thus Hindu religion leaded a way for a healthy living by suggesting walking without footwear.
