Do we need to goggle after the excretion process ...If so Why?

Nowadays its not being followed by anyone. But in the earlier days people framed the rules even for excretion process. Those are for both the wellness of the environment and health. The reasons told in those days seemed funny. In the olden days they told to clap the hands three times before the excretion process only to inform the good and bad souls, and also some medicated plants that we are going to excrete in that place. But anyway another rule in the excretion process is that after the process we have to goggle our mouth. The reason behind this particular fact found recently also it sounds good too. This is because that after the excretion process some gases with bad smell and disease causing germs will come upward from the small intestine. To prevent both the disease causing germs from doing their action and the bad smell,the goggling is the only way. So its good to goggle after the excretion process.
